A rally with history.
The Oasis Rally is closely connected to Heinz Kinigadner and the KINI/KTM community. Since the mid-1990s, the motocross and rally legend has helped shape the North African adventure and made rallying accessible to ambitious amateur riders.
Many riders completed their first rally kilometres at the Oasis Rally. Participants became winners, and young talents grew into international rally stars.
Brothers Tobias Moretti and Gregor Bloéb also gained their first rally experience here before taking on the Africa Eco Race.
For Tobias Ebster, Edgar Canet and Matthias Walkner, the Oasis Rally was their first rally. All three later became factory riders at the Dakar Rally; Matthias Walkner won it in 2018. When switching to four wheels, Walkner returned to the Oasis Rally to get his first real feel for his buggy under rally conditions.
