The Program

OASIS Rally 2027 · Saturday, 27 February – Saturday, 6 March 2027

Day 0 – Arrival, preparation, scrutineering & briefing
Arrival, check-in, vehicle preparation, scrutineering and a joint riders’ briefing.

Day 1 – First stage / first digital roadbook
The first rally day starts with the first stage, without timing. A digital roadbook is offered for optional use. This gives you time to become familiar with the format, navigation and terrain before the timed stages begin.

Days 2–5 – Timed rally stages
Four rally days with timed stages through sand, gravel and dunes in the Tunisian desert. A digital roadbook is offered for optional use.

Day 6 – Final stage & prize-giving The final timed rally stage is followed by the finish, prize-giving and the joint rally closing. Departure takes place after the joint rally finish.

Departure

The return journey takes place after the joint rally finish.

  • Passport
  • Motorcycle clothing including rain gear
  • Hydration backpack
  • Repatriation and international accident insurance
  • Cash for fuel

Categories

A1 Motorcycle

The ideal class for getting started in rally riding. Using a roadbook is optional. Only digital roadbooks are offered; no paper roadbooks are provided. An additional GPS device is recommended. GPS-only navigation is possible, but does not take you to all waypoints and does not display hazards.

B1 Buggy & SSV

An excellent way to enter rally sport on four wheels. Using a roadbook is optional. Only digital roadbooks are offered; no paper roadbooks are provided. An additional GPS device is recommended. GPS-only navigation is possible, but does not take you to all waypoints and does not display hazards.

C1 Big Bike / Twin-cylinder

Large bikes have their own route through easier terrain and gentle dunes, with sections on tarmac and gravel that reveal some of Tunisia’s most beautiful landscapes.

C2 Guided Adventure Tour

Would you like to gain your first desert experience while riding in a group? Join the tour, follow the guide and enjoy the best route through the desert.

A RALLY FOR EVERYONE

Designed especially for rally beginners and desert newcomers, the event starts with riding-skills training in the sand to teach the right technique. During the rally and tour, training in digital roadbook navigation and GPS use helps turn every participant into a confident desert rider, while tour guests are guided along the best route through the desert. Using a roadbook is optional. Only digital roadbooks are offered; no paper roadbooks are provided. An additional GPS device is recommended. GPS-only navigation is possible, but does not take you to all waypoints and does not display hazards.

Medical care

A doctor is present throughout the event, ensuring medical assistance around the clock.

Spare-parts service and technical assistance

If a technical problem occurs during the week, the KINI team mechanics are available with advice and, where possible, hands-on assistance (not a full-service package). Common spare parts for current KTM models are brought along and can be purchased at standard retail prices.

Vehicle transport We transport your vehicle to Tunisia. Simply drop it off with us in Wiesing, Austria. You can then travel to Tunisia worry-free, with your vehicle already waiting for you at the event.

Frequently asked questions about the Oasis Rally

Who is the Oasis Rally suitable for?

For beginners, desert newcomers and experienced off-road riders – competing for a classification or riding at their own pace.

Which vehicles can take part?

Motorcycles in classes A1, C1 and D1, as well as SSVs and buggies in class B1.

How is navigation handled?

From 2027, using a roadbook is optional. Only digital roadbooks are offered; no paper roadbooks are provided. An additional GPS device is recommended. GPS-only navigation is possible, but does not take you to all waypoints and does not display hazards.

What does the rally week look like?

OASIS Rally 2027 runs from Saturday, 27 February 2027, to Saturday, 6 March 2027. Day 0: arrival, check-in, vehicle preparation, scrutineering and briefing. Is motorcycle transport included?

Motorcycle transport is included. Transport for SSVs and buggies must be organised independently.

What accommodation and meals are included?

Accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. Single rooms can be booked for a surcharge in Djerba and Douz, and elsewhere where available.

Is technical and medical support available?

Mechanics provide assistance with problems, although this is not a full-service package. A doctor is also present throughout the event.

Where can I find prices and registration?

All prices and the registration form are available on the registration page. The number of participants is limited.
